The Hangman’s Fee – First Reviews In!

Happy spring everybody!

We’ve been thrilled with the response we’ve had to ‘The Hangman’s Fee’ since its release.  Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy.  We’ve had some excellent press coverage so far as well – some collected thoughts below:

‘a collection of traditional songs and original material that drips with blood as it summons dark spirits…an old school folk-rock belter’ – Oz Hardwicke, R2 Magazine

‘Green Diesel are a band with roots deep in the native soil, playing their own electric interpretations of ancient English music and crafting originals that fit seamlessly alongside the traditional tracks’ – Hugh Dellar, Shindig! Magazine

‘Green Diesel have done everything right in creating more good music for the folk scene’ – Paul Rawcliffe, FATEA Magazine

‘Green Diesel deservedly occupy their place within the pantheon of English folk rock’ – Tim Carroll, FolkWords

Praise indeed!  Thank you also to everyone who’s been to see us, especially those who came to our *SOLD OUT* album launch show in Faversham.  One of the best things we’ve ever done!  There’s still a few more opportunities to come and see us this spring – head over to the GIGS page to see if we’re coming near to you.
